We are proud to announce that Shannon Bowers, MILIEU magazine’s newly named Editor-at-Large, will be a moderator for the second annual Southern Style Now Festival and Showhouse, held this November in lovely Savannah, Georgia. Robert Leleux, the best-selling memoirist, essayist, and former director of domino magazine, is the creative force behind Southern Style Now. Joining him on the board this year is Ann Maine, the former editor in chief of Traditional Home.
On November 10 at 10:30 a.m., Shannon will lead a spirited discussion among panelists, all of whom are among the most accomplished and influential in the interior design industry, on the theme, “Everything Old is (Finally!) New Again: Decorating with Antiques.” This promises to be one of the liveliest talks at the festival—and as a leading interior designer herself, Shannon is excited to lead the discussion.
One of our favorite institutions, the highly influential Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), is partnering with the annual festival. Portions of the proceeds from the Showhouse will benefit The Historic Savannah Foundation.
