In September, MILIEU hosted an insightful—and delightful—presentation with Shannon and Stan Dixon, along with Holly Payne and David Frazier, that proved to be the Perfect Chemistry as part of DISCOVER ADAC in Atlanta. Shannon is an interior designer, and works with her husband, Stan, who is founder and principal of D. Stanley Dixon Architecture in Atlanta. Holly is a Studio Head at McAlpine’s New York City office, and her husband, David, is principal of his namesake firm. The event with the two talented couples was moderated by MILIEU’s Design Director, Leslie Newsom Rascoe, who had the guests discuss their work and the meaning of collaboration, especially with one’s spouse. The program closed with a version of “The Newlywed Game,” with Leslie dressing the part of a game show host and asking candid and entertaining questions of the couples.  Following the presentation, UpCountry Home Showroom and LEE Industries hosted a lovely reception.
