The 36th annual Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville celebrates American Elegance
This is the year America turns 250 years old, and, so, the “American Elegance” theme of this year’s Antiques & Garden Show Nashville has a special and enduring resonance.
MILIEU is honored to be the national media sponsor of the opening keynote lecture on January 9, 2026 titled Living Legacy: The Classic American Interiors of Ralph Lauren with Lauren Bush Lauren and David Lauren. Designer Alfredo Paredes will moderate the intimate discussion about the legacy of Ralph Lauren’s classic, indeed, iconic interiors, which takes place at Nashville’s Music City Center (the show continues through January 11).

“We look so forward to this annual event and to supporting it for so many years in a row,” says MILIEU’s Editor-in-Chief and Founder, Pamela Pierce. “We honor the show’s devotion to and celebration of some 150 antiques, art, and horticulture dealers, along with the garden showcases, but we especially recognize the charities that benefit from the event, notably Cheekwood Estate & Gardens and the Economic Club of Nashville (ECON) Charities. They do good works.”
Like its predecessors, this 36th show features some of the biggest names and talents in the industry. Interior designer Bunny Williams, and her longtime business partner, Elizabeth Lawrence, return again as honorary co-chairs. Other appearances planned for the three-day event include a design panel about the legacy of American elegance that will feature designers Will Meyer and Gray Davis and John and Christine Gachot. Floral designer Preston Bailey leads a floral lecture and landscape architect Charles Stick discusses the methods for designing timeless American gardens. And Rebecca Gardner, Founder and Creative Director of House & Parties, will be on hand to offer her tips and expertise on ways to entertain.
Adds Pierce, “This is an important year in America’s history and we at MILIEU are excited to have a role in this show that acknowledges such a key moment in our shared history.”
